I’M BACK!! YAY!

I’ve missed you guys over these past two months! My internship was super fun but the hours were crazy and long so I didn’t really get much time to play on the internet (or take pictures, sad). But I finished that up last week and moved back home so I’m back now!

I do miss my AST friends though. I got to meet some of the nicest and most talented people. Hopefully, I’ll get to work with them again in the future. I learned a lot about costume construction and… working with difficult people. Luckily, everyone in the costume shop was super nice and easy to get along with . I shall miss our little odd bunch!
Our four shows this year were Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew, The Producers, and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (children’s show). They were all really amazing though I had the most fun working on Macbeth probably because it was my favorite show and it didn’t kill me with quick changes like Producers did (30 seconds is NOT enough time to completely change someone’s outfit and get all the way to the other side of the stage for an entrance!). Luckily most of the actors were super nice about quick changes so that made it nice.

Now that AST is over with, I’ll be in my hometown for the rest of the summer working part time (Internships don’t pay much at all) and traveling a bit to see family. I look forward to finally getting some time off to rest. My first couple days back I slept til like 2 I was soo tired.

Hopefully I’ll get out to take some pictures soon but it’s way hot here. It’s been in the upper 90s almost every day since I got home. Not fun weather to walk around in. But I do have some pictures backed up on my computer that I plan on uploading soon. I was going to do it during AST but I did something silly. I had a free update available for my photo editing program so I decided to use. What I failed to notice is that you needed the original CD to complete the update and I had sent mine home with all my stuff when school got out. Because of that I haven’t been able to edit any pictures until a couple days ago when I managed to locate the disc in one of my many boxes. I was extremely happy. My dad thought I’d lost it (again) because I started dancing around the den with the disc.
